Puja Bahri, born in 1974 in Delhi, is a multidisciplinary artist known for her vibrant and expressive works across painting, sculpture, digital, and video art. She trained in painting and sculpture at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi, and further honed her skills in mixed media and abstraction at Saint Martin’s Institute of Art, London. Her art seamlessly blends abstraction and figuration, creating dynamic compositions rich in color and symbolism. Bahri’s early works featured iconic portraits and human figures, often semi-clad or nude couples set against lush landscapes adorned with creepers, flowers, and musical instruments, enhanced with masks and crowns. Working in series and experimenting with various media, she continues to push creative boundaries, infusing her art with emotion, depth, and a striking visual language.
